Specification and test plan
The test plan should follow the written purchase specification and destination requirements. Depending on the project it may address moisture, foreign matter, ash, volatile oil, microbiology, pesticide residues, heavy metals, mycotoxins, sulfur dioxide or treatment status.
Traceability and lot release
- Identify source and crop lot.
- Record intake and processing relationship.
- Keep the production/packing lot linked to the specification.
- Review required test and certificate documents.
- Release only against the confirmed commercial order.
